Art is Everything & Everything is Art!
Hello I'm Megan Nicole!
I've been Artist all my life and for as long as I can remember all I ever wanted to be was an artist. My parents are artists; my father a poet & photographer, my mother a visually impaired watercolorists. My whole family are artists, there was only ONE thing to Be...
Growing up I took every art class available, I even was part of creating the very 1st advanced art class in my middle school. Loved HS Art and all it had to offer & went to College with high expectations it was my life my identity. Unfortunately College had nothing to teach me....
Lost in my youth, I turned to dark art, poetry, NIN and the Cure. Then I grew up, and went to work in the rat race called life and became a hamster in a cage. I Lost myself completely, again. I was simply miserable behind a desk working for the man (managing Dr's office's just wasn't working, taking orders from anyone just isn't my cup of tea), it had completely sucked all my creativity away, so I quit.
I was still young enough so I turned to modeling in my early 20's this was a fresh new way, to be creative! Took my very 1st Headshot to start modeling using an old logitech web cam (and it actually got me a lot of work). This Sparked my interest in lighting a photography & I bought my 1st digital camera in 2004 (because in the 80's my dad would always be so mad at all the wasted film he would have to purchase lol) Finally life had meaning again, it came so naturally to me & then I realized... I was a photographer! It only took me 10 years to find myself. In my late 20's I used my photography and art skills to start a clothing & design company and I turned business owner, no body is going to tell me what to do lol.
Now I'm in my 30's, I'm a successful Artist & Photographer... perfect! I'm also the co owner & COO of GORILLA Enterprises an Animation & Film Studio but that's a whole other story lol. Oh and I'm a wiz in the kitchen that's where I unwind & let my real creative juices flow big_smile It's been a crazy journey but well worth all that I went through to be where I am today.
